How to use Chewy deals and Autoship, step by step

1. Start with what your pet already eats. Search for your pet’s usual food and supplies first. Switching foods suddenly can upset tummies.
2. Check Today’s Deals. Filter by your type of pet and the category you need, like food, treats, or litter.
3. Compare the price per pound or per count. Larger bags are often cheaper per pound, but only if your pet will finish them while fresh.
4. Look at the Autoship price. Many items show a lower price “with Autoship.” Chewy’s Autoship page says you can save 5% on eligible future Autoship orders, with some exclusions. Chewy often runs a first Autoship order promotion too. Check the current terms and limits.
5. Pick a delivery schedule that fits. Choose how often you want deliveries. You can change the frequency, change your next order date, skip a shipment, or cancel from Manage Autoship in your account.
6. Review your cart. Check the total, shipping, and any promo details before you place your order.

Chewy for seniors and fixed incomes

For many older adults, a pet is daily company, a reason to get up, and a walking buddy. Keeping that pet fed should not be a monthly worry. Autoship can turn pet food into a steady, predictable expense, like a utility bill, so it is easier to plan around a fixed income.

Home delivery is also a real help if lifting heavy bags is hard on your back or if you no longer drive. If you need help setting up an account, ask a family member or neighbor to sit with you once.
