Little Free Library: Take a Book, Share a Book
Those charming little wooden boxes on neighborhood posts are tiny free libraries. Grab a book you will love, and leave one you have finished for the next reader.

“Students, this library has no late fees, no library card, and no closing time. It is the friendliest bookshelf on the block.”
What is a Little Free Library?
Little Free Library is a nonprofit that supports neighborhood book-sharing boxes. Volunteers called stewards set up and care for the boxes, and anyone can stop by to take or share books. There are many thousands of registered boxes around the world, with a free online map and app to help you find them.
Inspired by the idea, some neighborhoods also have Little Free Pantries, where neighbors share canned goods and everyday basics.
